GENERAL

Digoxin is used in congestive heart failure to help the heart beat more strongly and move blood through the body better. It can also be used to treat certain types of heart rhythm disturbances.

PROPER USAGE

The dosing of digoxin is very critical and too much can be toxic. It should not be used in animals who have ventricular fibrillation. Collie-breed dogs and all cats may be more sensitive to digoxin and should be used very cautiously. Do not skip doses or
