Cyclosporine is an immunosuppressant and should be given exactly as directed by your veterinarian. It is used for: atopic dermatitis, dry eye syndrome. This medication decreases the power of the immune system so your pet is more susceptible to infections.
Cyclosporine should be used with caution in liver and kidney disease. It should not be handled by pregnant women due to possible birth defects. Your pet should not receive live virus vaccines while on cyclosporine as they may not work properly.
urinary tract infections, persistant ear infections, lethargy, decrease in appetite, gingival hyperplasia (overgrowth of gums), swelling of lymph nodes, if using for eyes: eye irritation such as rubbing, redness, blinking, vomiting and diarrhea, cats may
